I recently received a wonderful review from clients who were visiting Italy for the first time to attend a wedding near Cortona and wanted to also visit Rome and Venice. They were such a joy to work with and I am so thrilled that I was able to create a memorable trip for them.  Honestly, nothing make me happier than knowing my clients have the trip that they have dreamed about.

I have never worked with a travel agent or advisor, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I am pretty sure that Starr Baines set the bar incredibly high!  I won’t travel again without one, and I might just prioritize areas that Starr covers when planning my next trip. She was fantastic.  

From the get-go, she identified that we were going to have a quarantine issue (that we missed completely) because of our layover and saved us from a major catastrophe!  The tours she helped us pick were amazing.  She sent recommendations for restaurants in both Rome and Venice, and we visited 3 of them, all were incredible.  When we couldn’t get a reservation at one, she found us a back-up, but then the original called and was able to fit us in and she rescheduled and took care of everything.  The help she provided regarding traveling within the cities and between, was worth it’s weight in gold.  There is no way we could have navigated foreign public transportation with such ease.  The app and itinerary were so easy to use during our travel, with maps included for each tour and event.  

Starr helped us plan the trip of a lifetime.  To top it off, on our last day when we arrived at our hotel in Venice, there was a cake and a note from Starr wishing me a happy birthday!  She really went above and beyond to make sure our trip was perfect.  

I would highly recommend anyone traveling to Europe to work with Travels by Starr!
